The votive holder is made from the songbook / Bible holder taken from the original church pew of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Huntsville, Alabama. The church was founded by Father Messmer on September 8th, 1952. On November 5th, 2010, a new chapel was built and the old pews and other relics were removed. Gabe Nieto Design of Austin, TX has taken these pews and is creating various keepsakes, such as these votive holders so that parishioner's and people across the country can have a piece of this historic church to love and enjoy in their own homes. The wood is blessed by Bishop Foley and symbolizes peace and faith for all. These Votive Holders are completely unique and limited in number.
